About Riya
Riya was born in New Jersey in 2006. She is 18 years old and is in her freshman year of college at Princeton University, where she will be studying Computer Science. She is passionate about research at the intersection of computer science and the humanities. In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing the piano/guitar, coding, and spending time with her family. She recently graduated from Manalapan High School's Science & Engineering Magnet Program and was named the MNHS Class of 2024 Valedictorian out of 450 students. She was also one of two students in her class who won the Principal's Executive Leadership Award for her dedication to leadership, community service, and academic excellence.
